PLAN FOR GROWING SYDNEY
The State Government’s Plan for Growing Sydney was
released in December 2014 and sets the framework
for strategic planning and transport in Metropolitan
Sydney. It provides the following key directions for
Castle Hill:
––Castle Hill is a Strategic Centre. The plan seeks to
provide additional capacity for mixed-uses including
offices, retail, services and housing; improve walking
connections to the future Castle Hill train station;
and investigate potential for a light rail corridor to the
centre from Parramatta.
